Andre Blaise Kesseng Mbassa

Andre Blaise Kesseng Mbassa became a senior civil servant with the Government of Cameroon in 1982 after obtaining his Masters Degree in Business Law. Among many other responsibilities, he was Legal Adviser in the Department of Economy in Cameroon and State solicitor.

From 1988 to 1999, he served as Diplomat (Economic and Commercial Counsellor) at the Embassy of Cameroon in the USA. During his 11 year tenure, he was very instrumental in fostering on the one hand the bilateral economic, financial and commercial relationship between his country and the USA, and on the other hand the multilateral cooperation with the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).He was Advisor at numerous World Bank-IMF Joint Meetings; Member of the International Cotton Advisory Committee; Liaison Person with the US-Cameroon Business Council. He participated in conjunction with the US Government in the establishment of the Industrial Free Zones program in Cameroon.

Andre’s positive, gentle yet aggressive reach out strategies and tremendous network help attract foreign investment to his country. In this framework, he has been the catalyst in the undertaking of the largest affordable housing project in his country and is steadfastly working on implementing such programs in a number of African countries.

Mr. Kesseng has gained extensive sales experience throughout the years, serving as Vice President and Regional Director of MonaLisa Chocolatier in Spain, France and the UK,

Sales Manager at two of the largest automotive groups in the Washington DC area, Rosenthal and Darcars  where he is currently employed as Sales Manager.

He is well respected  community builder among his peers as such he was recently elected as the first President of the bafia community in the USA.

Mr. Kesseng is fluent in Spanish, French and English.
